Three days of workshops around the work of Ernst Krenk included the preparation by young people of their own composition-improvisation, as well as interaction with musicians. They all performed together at the final concert.

As part of the workshops, students learned about the way of notating music in the form of graphic scores created by the Polish-Austrian composer Roman Haubenstock-Ramati. The scores were performed by the participants and professional musicians.

The students of the School performed a composition by Georg Friedrich Haas, “Rondeau”, written for the youth orchestra. As part of the workshops, young musicians learned about microtonal and spectral music.
