ARNOLD SCHÖNBERG – EDUCATION PROJECT

The subject of meetings with young people of the Middle and High School of the Association of Culture and Education in Warsaw, ul. Foksal 11, was the music by Arnold Schönberg. Under the direction of Sławomir Wojciechowski, workshop participants composed choral pieces to texts from “Pierrot Lunaire” by the Austrian artist. Young people also had the opportunity to play the role of conductors and conduct the performance of fragments from Schönberg’s “Chamber Symphony” op.9 with the participation of professional musicians present at the workshop.
